Our focus at Asara is on flavour-driven food that’s both sustainable and traceable. We like you to know exactly what you’re eating, where it comes from and how we’ve prepared it. We use the best local ingredients from producers we know and trust, and serve food that’s generous, hearty, and always delicious.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we grow our own vegetables and herbs in our kitchen garden, and we’re working on producing 50% of everything we use in the not-too-distant future.
The two restaurants and deli on our estate cater to all tastes and budgets. Whichever you choose, you’ll enjoy quality food, attentive staff and a taste of our signature Asara hospitality.

Our friendly deli is the heart and soul of Asara, and the perfect spot for a light lunch, a decadent treat or just a spot of browsing. Set just off the courtyard alongside the original bell tower, the deli is stocked with artisanal cheeses, meats and preserves from our hand-picked local producers. Our resident pastry chef supplies freshly baked breads, pastries, cakes and macaroons each day, while our ice cream cart offers up a selection of tempting handmade ice creams.
With Martha, Asara’s longest-serving and most passionate member of staff at the helm, The Deli is always buzzing with charm, laughter – and delicious food.
Our in-house chocolatier uses Belgian chocolate to handcraft her beautiful, melt-in-your-mouth creations. From whiskey truffles to passion fruit and dark chocolate creams, her range of no less than 15 different chocolates is always full of surprises. Using a natural approach and avoiding colourants and flavourants, she makes sure her chocolates are worthy of being savoured and enjoyed. Working from the open-plan kitchen below the deli, she’s always happy for visitors to pop by to watch her work, have a little taste and even join in for a chocolate-making class.
